KGF 3 Release BIG Update: Yash To Return As 'Rocky Bhai' In 2025, Official Announcement Likely Soon⁩

Kannada actor Yash is one the hugely popular stars in the industry. The actor who has secured a place in fans’ hearts with the blockbuster hit KGF franchise, enjoys a massive pan-India fan following. As such, it’s natural for the fans to want KGF 3, since the second film had dropped a subtle hint that the story might take off. Now there’s an exciting update about the same.

As per sources close to IndiaToday.In, fans have to wait a couple of years before they can set their eyes on Yash’s mass avatar again. The source shared, “Yash-starrer ‘KGF 3’ is looking at mid-2025 or end of 2025 for the release date. The actor will begin shooting for the film at the end of next year. With this, Hombale Films is eyeing a stellar lineup for the upcoming years. They have booked Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’ for December-end of this year and are looking at going massively with ‘KGF 3’ in 2025. In December, the production house is looking at making an official announcement about the same.”

Last year as well, reports claiming KGF 3 will release by 2024 made headlines. However, later, one of the producers, Karthik Gowda clarified that work on the film will not start anytime soon. “The news doing the rounds are all speculation. With a lot of exciting projects ahead of us, we @hombalefilms will not be starting #KGF3 anytime soon. We will let you know with a bang when we start the work towards it,” he had tweeted.

On the work front, Yash made his film debut in 2007 with the film Jambada Hudugi. However, he got his breakthrough after appearing in the romantic drama Moggina Manasu in 2008. He also won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for this film. He came into the limelight after appearing in the 2018 Kannada-language period action film K.G.F: Chapter 1.

The movie was written and directed by Prashanth Neel and bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films. It was the first of a two-part series, followed by K.G.F. Chapter: 2. The movie featured a huge cast, including Yash, Ramachandra Raju, Srinidhi Shetty, Vasishta N Simha, Achyuth Kumar, Anant Nag, Archana Jois, TS Nagabharana, B Suresha and Malavika Avinash playing the pivotal roles.
