Neetu Kapoor Recalls When Zeenat Aman Asked For Forgiveness At A Temple: ‘Mandir Jaane Ka System…’

The upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan will feature two of the most loved veterans from Indian cinema – Neetu Kapoor and Zeenat Aman. The duo, along with the host, Karan Johar, will be talking about films and get them to spill beans from their personal and professional lives and all things in between.

Amid all the laughter and conversation, Neetu Kapoor shared a fun anecdote from Zeenat’s life. “So she goes to the Mandir. She is shutting her button, and she says, ‘Hey bhagwan, mujhe maaf kardena, humare yaha mandir jaane ka system hi nahi hai (O God, pardon me, we do not have a system of going to a temple).” All three of them then burst out laughing. Karan dropped the promo video from the episode earlier today.

Sharing the promo on Instagram on Monday, Karan wrote, “It’s all about the legends and the glam of this episode!!! Zeenat Aman and Neetu Kapoor are all set to bring their charm to the Koffee couch on the newest episode of #KoffeeWithKaranS8! #HotstarSpecials #KoffeeWithKaran Season 8: A new episode streams this Thursday on Disney+ Hotstar! #KWKS8OnHotstar.”

The clip started with Neetu introducing Zeenat Aman as “style aur sexiness ki dukaan (the one-stop shop for style and sexiness)”, while Zeenat called Neetu “lovely and vivacious” as they sat on the couch.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Zeenat Aman is all set to star in Manish Malhotra’s directorial debut, Bun Tikki. She will be seen sharing the screen space with Shabana Azmi. Zeenat and Shabana previously shared screen space in Ishk Ishk Ishk (1974) and Ashanti (1982). Bun Tikki also stars Abhay Deol.

Neetu Kapoor, on the other hand, was last seen in Jugjugg Jeeyo with Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.
