Ranbir Kapoor's Animal Gets 1 AM, 2 AM Shows In Mumbai Due To Increase In Demand
Owing to the massive success of Ranbir Kapoor's Animal, post midnight shows have been added in Mumbai.

Ranbir Kapoor has left everyone completely impressed with his recent release – Animal. The film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, has been getting an overwhelming response from critics and audiences alike. It has also been reported that Animal also created history at the box office on its opening day. Now, it is being said that due to the increased demand for the film, more early morning shows have been added for its screening.

According to The Free Press Journal, in Mumbai’s Maxus Cinemas, 1 am, 2 am and 5:30 am shows have been added. In Goregaon’s PVR Oberoi Mall and Andheri’s PVR Citi Mall, 12:30 am and 1:05 am shows have been added respectively. Cinepolis in Bhandup’s Magnet Mall has added a 1:15 am show. These shows will open on Sunday, December 3.

As reported by the industry tracker Sacnilk, early estimates suggest that Animal earned Rs 61 crore on its opening day across all languages in India. While it collected Rs 50.50 crore in Hindi belts, the Telugu version of the film also earned Rs 10 crore. Recently, it was also reported that Animal has crossed $1 million in North America. With this, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has become the first Hindi movie in North America to achieve this feat.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Tripti Dimri also play key roles in the film. The film revolves around a father and son’s toxic relationship. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given Animal an ‘A’ certificate. The film’s run time is 3 hours and 35 minutes.

News18 Showsha’s review of the film reads, “Animal is for brave hearts (brace yourself for a brutal throat-slitting scene). The film is dark, loud and garish but also unapologetic. It has guns blazing with the background score sometimes overpowering the dialogues. But somehow, all of that works. Amid all the grimness and goriness, you will also find yourself cracking up from time to time, thanks to Sandeep’s cheeky approach. Animal might not meet the tall claims made by the makers but it’s an amusing roller coaster ride that will keep you hooked throughout…”
