Salaar: Prabhas Film Gets POSTPONED To Avoid Clash With SRK's Dunki? Here's What We Know
Earlier, there were reports claiming that Salaar release date will be changed because makers want to avoid clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki.

Prabhas starrer Salaar has been in the news ever since it was announced. Well, recently there were reports that the film release has been postponed because it was clashing with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki. However, none of the sides officially claimed. And now there is a report saying that it has not been postponed and it is very much releasing on December 22.

A report on Sacnilk.com states that the Prabhas still on track to release in cinemas on December 22 and enjoy an extended Christmas weekend at the box office. The report also claims that the makers will drop the film’s first trailer by the end of November or early December. It is worth mentioning here that last month film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan wrote on his social media handle, “Buzz: #SalaarVsDunki X #ShahRukhKhan’s #Dunki likely to get POSTPONED. #Prabhas’ #Salaar to get a SOLO record release.”

Coming to Salaar, this film is poised to mark a significant comeback for Prabhas, especially following his recent film, Adipurush, which did not perform as expected. The film is planned to be released in two parts, with the first part titled Salaar: Ceasefire.

Aside from Prabhas, the movie boasts a star-studded cast, including actress Shruti Haasan, actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Jagapathi Babu in prominent roles. Salaar will be a multilingual release, hitting screens in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film is expected to transport viewers back to the 1980s and delve into a gripping narrative set against the backdrop of the limestone mafia.

The film’s teaser, released earlier, created waves on social media and went viral, building further anticipation for this action-packed thriller. As fans eagerly await the new release date, the promise of an unforgettable cinematic experience keeps the excitement surrounding Salaar at an all-time high.

While Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki is directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film also stars Taapsee Pannu alongside Shah Rukh, marking their first on-screen pairing together.
