Siddhant Chaturvedi Recalls Partying With Shah Rukh Khan At Mannat: 'He Was Very Gracious'
Siddhant Chaturvedi narrated a memorable account with the superstar Shah Rukh Khan at Mannat.

Siddhant Chaturvedi is currently gearing up for the release of his film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Ananya Panday and Adarsh Gourav. The film follows the story of three best friends and their “digital coming of age”. As such, the actor recently recalled an incident with his friends that involved the megastar, Shah Rukh Khan. He recalled how he partied with Shah Rukh once till 5 am.

Siddhant said that he ran into Shah Rukh once at a club and the superstar graciously invited him to his house. He shared with ETimes, “So my friend had a date one night and we were chilling at Soho House, where we bumped into Shah Rukh Khan and we all were struck by him and his charm. He was very gracious and met us warmly. He then asked us to join him at Mannat after our party. But I told him that I have my laundas (my gang of friends) with me, to which he said ‘Tum launde ho to hum bhi Jawan hai’. So we all ended up at his place.”

“Coming to my friend’s date, it was her birthday. So I wished her and then we took her to Mannat and we partied that night till 4:30 and by the end of the night, my friend was so happy thinking he and this girl would become a thing soon, as he really liked the girl. But I told him, ‘ Nahi Hoga’ and he was wondering why, so I explained to him that on the very first date, she met Shah Rukh Khan and how to top that. And sometime later, that’s exactly what happened, I felt like I sabotaged his date,” he said.

Shah Rukh Khan is currently enjoying the success of his film Dunki. Dunki marks Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s first collaboration. Granted the U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, Dunki is spread across a run time of 2 hours 41 minutes. The film follows the emotional journey of a group of friends who want to move abroad. The plot follows the exciting journey of those who choose an unconventional route known as the Donkey Flight, showing the difficulties they face on their way.

News18 Showsha has given the film a 4-star rating and praised Shah Rukh’s performance. “What keeps Dunki afloat is Shah Rukh Khan. After watching him turn into an action hero with Pathaan and Jawan, it’s refreshing to see him do something that allows him to flex his acting muscles. SRK brings a rare vulnerability, honesty, and earnest dignity to his character. His innocence and charm win us over with sheer heart and it is this heart that counts in a Hirani movie. This is one of the most significant films of his career,” the review read.
