Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Shailesh Lodha Invited For Ram Mandir Inauguration

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Shailesh Lodha has also received invitation for the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024. On Wednesday, paparazzo account Viral Bhayani took to its Instagram handle and dropped a photo of Lodha in which he was seen receiving the invitation.

Shailesh Lodha is not the only actor who has been invited for the Ram Temple inauguration ceremony. Among others, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Hema Malini, Abhishek Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff and Tiger Shroff have also been sent invitations.

On Wednesday, Vindu Dara Singh also reacted Ayodhya when he revealed that he will also be performing ‘Ramleela’ at the event. While speaking to the news agency ANI, Vindu Dara Singh said, “I have been invited to perform ‘Ramleela’ in Ayodhya from January 16 to January 22. I am playing the role of Lord Shiva. Ayodhya will become the world’s top pilgrimage site. It is said that Satyayuga is coming even within Kaliyuga, this is happening. This is our Ram ji. Modi ji and Yogi ji are doing so much work and serving the country.”

Shailesh Lodha used to play the role of Taarak Mehta in the popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He was a part of the show ever since the beginning. However, he quit in April 2022. Lodha is replaced by Sachin Shroff in the show.

In September 2023, Lodha claimed that he left TMKOC because of Asit Kumarr Modi’s behaviour. Shailesh argued he was invited for a stand-up show titled Good Night India on SAB TV in 2022 which left Asit Modi disappointed. He claimed that Asit Modi used inappropriate language with him and when he confronted the maker, Modi called everyone on the show his servants in a derogatory way.

“I could not tolerate the way he spoke to me. A show is made by many people coming together and not just one person. I thus mailed him on February 17, 2022, that I would not like to continue with the show,” Lodha told Lallantop.
