Umar Riaz Opens Up On Brother Asim Riaz’s Break Up With Himanshi Khurana, Says It Wasn't a 'Divorce'

Bigg Boss 13 fame Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana left everyone shocked in December 2023 after they announced their break-up. A month later, former’s brother’s Umar Riaz has now urged everyone not to give it important as if it was a divorce. Umar was speaking to Indian Express recently when he opened up about Asim’s break up with Himanshi and requested all not to interfere in their personal life.

“There is always a reason for everything to happen in life, and we forget about God often. People keep coming into your life and they leave also. If you get married to them, it means that person was meant to be. If you break up, it was not meant to be. Things didn’t happen because of their reasons. It’s their personal life, so let that relationship be where it was. Don’t give it importance like it was a divorce,” Umar said.

Umar, who also participated in Bigg Boss 15, further argued that Asim and Himanshi come from different cultures and therefore, being together for them was “difficult”.

“There are a lot many things. Love is not just love, you get attached to people, and get away from reality for a while. But both Asim and Himanshi represent different cultures from Kashmir and Punjab. When these two people meet, there are some aspects involved, and a few of them might not give a damn about those, but sometimes those aspects have to be considered. So when they thought about those aspects, they realized them being together anymore was difficult,” he added.

Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana met inside the Bigg Boss 13 house and fell in love with each other. The two were together for four years before they announced break up in December 2023. “YES, we are not together anymore, All the time we have spent together has been great but our togetherness comes to an end Now. The journey of our relationship was great and we are moving forward in our lives. We request you to respect our privacy,” Himanshi had said in a statement.
