The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is currently accepting applications from candidates for the postgraduate scholarship scheme 2023-24. Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship via the official website at pgscholarship.aicte-india.org. AICTE will provide postgraduate scholarships of Rs 12,400 per month to full-time GATE and CEED-certified students accepted to AICTE-accredited institutions under this scholarship.
The AICTE PG scholarship 2023 intends to advance technical education in India. To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must have obtained qualifying marks on a valid GATE/CEED scorecard. As per the official notice, the deadline for the creation of a student’s ID by the institute as well as the online submission of the application form by the student is November 30.
“All eligible students shall upload their information on or before 30th November 2023 on AICTE web portal and the Institute shall complete the procedure of student data verification and approval for the eligibility for the receipt of scholarship on or before 15th December 2023,” read the official notice. The scholarship will be available for a period of 24 months, or for the duration of the course.
AICTE PG Scholarship 2023-24: Eligibility Criteria
1. The candidate must hold a valid GATE/CEED scorecard at the time of admission.
2. Candidates in their final years of dual degree integrated courses would also be entitled to a PG Scholarship from the 9th semester onwards, i.e. only for one year in their final year.
AICTE PG Scholarship 2023-24: Steps To Apply
Step 1: Candidates must collect their unique ID from the institute and then log in at-pgscholarship.aicte-india.org.
Step 2: Once registration is over, fill out the application form.
Step 3: Upload all the scanned documents, like the Aadhaar card, a copy of the GATE/CEED score card, the category certificate (if applicable), and others.
Step 4: Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
AICTE PG Scholarship 2023-24: Documents required
While applying for the AICTE PG Scholarship 2023, students are required to submit all the necessary documents in JPEG or JPG format only. The list of documents is mentioned below:
–– Scanned copy of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/ Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) scorecard.
–– Bank account details. The bank account should be linked with Aadhaar card.
–– Scanned copy of the original Aadhaar card (Candidates should be aware that an Aadhar number is required to apply for a PG scholarship. Applications will not be accepted unless the individual provides their Aadhar number).
–– Scanned copy of the valid category certificate for ST/SC, EWS, OBC and non-creamy layer (NCL).
Once the documents are submitted, the institute will verify the student data and approve his or her candidature on the portal.
