GATE 2024: The portal for modifying applications will open from November 18 to November 24. The exam will take place on February 3, 4, 10, and 11

The Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, has extended the dates for the GATE 2024 correction window, and applicants who want to make modifications to their Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 application form can do so at gate2024.iisc.ac.in, the official website of IISc GATE. According to a post put out by the GATE’s official “X” (previously Twitter) handle, the portal for GATE 2024 will be open for modifying applications from November 18 to November 24, with fees as specified.

The GATE 2024 admit cards will be issued on January 3, 2024, with the test taking place on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. On February 16, the candidate response sheet will be released on the website, and on February 21, the answer keys will be released. The deadline for filing an objection to the answer key will be February 25. The scorecard will be made accessible on March 23, while the GATE 2024 results will be announced on March 16.

GATE 2024: HOW TO EDIT APPLICATION FORM

Step 1: Go to gate2024.iisc.ac.in, the official website.

Step 2: Select the “Registration Correction Window” link on the main page.

Step 3: Enter your personal information to generate login details.

Step 4: Utilising the credentials that were created, log in.

Step 5: Update the GATE 2024 online application form with the necessary information.

Step 6: Submit the corrected GATE 2024 application form and pay the fees.

The post also includes information on the fees associated with each modification. The candidates have to pay Rs 500 to modify any of the data. An applicant must pay Rs 1400 if they wish to change from being a female to any other gender, from being a SC/ST to any other category, or from being PwD/Dyslexic to Non-PwD/Dyslexic.

GATE 2023 will be administered in a three-hour Computer Based Test (CBT) format. There will be 30 test papers for the exam. The two sections of each paper are the Candidate’s Selected Subject(s) and General Aptitude (GA). There are 65 questions in all on GATE 2024, 10 in the general aptitude part and 55 in the subject area that the applicants choose.
