The International Cricket Council has announced that the anthem of the 2023 ODI World Cup will be released on September 20 at 12:00 PM IST. The mega cricketing event will be played in India starting October 5 and the anthem of the tournament is composed by renowned Indian music director Pritam. Meanwhile, Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh will feature in the video as the cricket governing body has released the poster of the anthem on their social media account.

Earlier, Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan was part of the World Cup’s promotional video and he also posed with the prestigious trophy.
A total of 10 teams will participate in the mega ICC event as the tournament will be played in a round-robin format where every team will face each other in the group stage.
The 2023 ODI World Cup will begin on the 5th of October and the final will be held on the 19th of November. The magnificent Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will be the venue for the opening and closing games as India will try to bring back the cup on home soil.
The opening match of the tournament will be played between England and New Zealand. While India will begin their campaign on the 8th of October against Australia. Meanwhile, the Narendra Modi Stadium will host the marquee India vs Pakistan clash on October 14.
Each team plays the other nine in a round-robin format with the top four qualifying for the knockout stage and semi-finals. The first semi-final will be held on Wednesday, November 15 in Mumbai and the second semi-final will be held the following day in Kolkata. Both semi-finals will have a reserve day.
