The National Defence Academy (NDA) Exam Date 2024 for NDA 1 and NDA 2 Exams has been issued by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) at upsc.gov.in. Candidates should note that the NDA 1 exam will take place for the 153rd Course and the 115th Indian Naval Academy Courses (INAC). As per the examination schedule, the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA and NA-I) will be conducted on April 21, 2024, and the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA and NA-II) will take place on September 1, 2024.

UPSC NDA 1 And 2 Exam: Important Dates To Remember

NDA 1 Admit Card: Likely to be released 3 weeks before the examination.

NDA 2 Admit Card: To be released 3 weeks before the exam.

NDA 1 Exam Date: April 21, 2024 (Sunday).

NDA 2 Exam Date: September 1, 2024 (Sunday).

National Defence Academy (NDA) Exam Pattern

The National Defence Academy 2 Exam in 2024 will be held in offline mode. The NDA exam comprises two papers: the Mathematics and General Ability Tests, each worth 900 marks. The mathematics paper carries 300 marks, and the general ability test carries 600 marks.

The question paper will be in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format, and candidates will be given two and a half hours to complete each subject. It is to be noted that in mathematics, there are 120 questions, while the general ability test has 150 questions. The examination paper is available in both English and Hindi.

Candidates are further selected on the basis of a written test consisting of Objective Type Questions and an Intelligence and Personality Test (SSB) in offline mode.

In addition to that, it is important to note that the SSB (Services Selection Board) interview is a thorough examination planned to assess the mental, physical, and psychological fitness of the candidate for a career in the Indian Armed Forces.
