West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) application window will be closed on March 23 by 5 pm. The engineering aspirants who have not applied for the same can complete their registration at wbjeeb.nic.in within the stipulated time. WBJEE 2021 entrance exam will be held on July 7 in two shifts from 11 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm.
WBJEE is conducted for admission to various undergraduate engineering and technology programmes available in several institutes and colleges across West Bengal. A total of 34,981 seats are available in various undergraduate engineering courses across the state.
WBJEE 2021: How to apply
Applicants must keep the scanned copy of passport size coloured photograph, signature, and other required documents handy. Here’s how you can apply
Step 1. Go to the home page of WBJEE Board at wbjeeb.nic.in and click on the WBJEE 2021 tab
Step 2. Next, click on the WBJEE 2021 application link and register yourself.
Step 3. Registered login credentials will be generated, keep that safely.
Step 4. Fill in the WBJEE application form by using the registered login id and password
Step 5. Pay the application fee and download a copy of the confirmation page
WBJEE 2021: Exam Pattern
WBJEE 2021 paper is comprised of two parts. Paper 1 will have questions from mathematics and paper 2 will have chemistry and physics. The exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode. There will be three types of questions each containing one mark, two mark, and three marks, respectively. The total marks of the paper will be 200.
WBJEE 2021: Marking Scheme
Candidates will be rewarded one mark, two mark or three marks accordingly for every correct response while ¼ of the total marks will be deducted for every wrong attempt. No marks will be provided for unattempted questions.
