New Delhi: Delhi government is likely to have cleared the appointment of Justice AP Shah as Lokayukta. The post of Lokayukta in Delhi has been lying vacant since November 2013. Justice AP Shah is a former Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court. He has also served as the Chairman of the Law Commission.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government had faced flak for not making the appointment for over 6 months after coming to power.
