List of Congress MPs suspended by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan

New Delhi: Twenty five members of Congress have been suspended for five days for causing disruptions.

Ordering the suspension of several Congress leaders, including Deepender Singh Hooda and Gaurav Gogoi, for five days, the Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan blamed the members for causing "grave disorder".

Mahajan questioned why the members of the Congress-led opposition were displaying placards and storming the well of the House despite repeated warnings.

Asserting that her patience was being tested by the opposition parties, the Lok Sabha Speaker also adjourned the House for the day.
