Bhubaneswar: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will be holding six rallies across Odisha on Sunday in an attempt to come back to power in the state after a long gap of 14 years.
Rahul Gandhi is on a two-day visit to Odisha. His visit comes just two days ahead of BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's visit to the state.
Rahul is also slated to meet college students in Bhubaneswar after which he will attend a public meeting at Salepur.
According to latest reports, Rahul is about to reach Salepur.
Rahul's rallies come in the wake of forthcoming Assembly elections in the state. If Panchayat elections and local body polls are anything to go by, Congress is unlikely to make any drastic change in its performance in the elections.
Congress was in power in the state back in 2000.
