Ramdev Finds Lalu Prasad a Good Ambassador for Patanjali Products

Baba Ramdev has found an unlikely ambassador in Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad for the products manufactured by Patanjali. The yoga guru has made the former Bihar chief minister the face for Patanjali's gold brand cream, quite literally.

A beaming Ramdev applied the gold cream on Lalu's face and claimed that the product ensured that the skin glowed like gold. He added that he had invited Lalu for the International Yoga Day on June 21.

Lalu lauded Ramdev and claimed that some people are jealous of the yoga guru because his products are in demand. "He is doing a good work for the country. He is giving us natural products. Whatever he earns he spends it on charity," said Lalu.

The two have not enjoyed a good relationship and in the past they have often targeted each other.

While Ramdev is seen closer to the Bharatiya Janata Party and has often advocated its policies, Lalu has always been on the other side. He has been a strident BJP critic and minced no words to castigating its leaders and policies.
