'Tiger Abhi Zinda Hai': Shivraj Singh Roars in MP Despite Poll Debacle
The former chief minister, who was in his constituency Budhni, took a cue from Salman Khan starrer Bollywood movie Tiger Zinda Hai to emphasise that he was with the people of Madhya Pradesh and was working for them.

New Delhi: The loss in recent Madhya Pradesh assembly elections has not deterred former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who has been throwing up pleasant surprises since his resignation. While his unexpected 'sportsmanship' at Kamal Nath's swearing-in caught camera's attention, the 'new Bollywood-inspired Chouhan' is now set to win over voters ahead of 2019.

The former chief minister, who was in his constituency Budhni on Wednesday, took a cue from Salman Khan starrer Bollywood movie Tiger Zinda Hai to emphasise that he was with the people and was working for them.

"No one needs to worry that what will happen to them. I am still here. Tiger abhi zinda hai (the tiger is alive)," he said.

Chouhan is known for his witty remarks, innuendoes and use of rhyming one-liners to target his political rivals. Recently, during a poll campaign in MP, the former CM slammed Congress president Rahul Gandhi by referring to a Bollywood song, "Tum to thehre pardesi saath kya nibhaoge."
