HTC Vive: HTC unveils its first virtual reality headset; coming later this year

New Delhi: Foraying into the virtual reality space, HTC has unveiled its first wearable headset - the HTC Vive. Targeted at gamers, the new virtual reality headset is equipped with 70 sensors that is claimed to provide 360-degree room tracking and immersive virtual reality experience.

The device is said to be light in weight and will come with wireless controllers.

HTC has teamed up with HBO, Google, Loins Gate to improve the virtual reality experience and bring more content to the HTC Vive headset.

The developer edition of the HTC Vive headset will be available in Spring and the consumer edition will be launched before the end of this year.
