Mi LED TV 5, Redmi 7, Mi Band 4 And More, Here is What Xiaomi Could Bring in 2019
Expect a variety of products from the company this year.

Xiaomi has been one of the most successful brands in recent years. Offering a variety of products ranging from smartphones to TVs and even air-purifiers, the Chinese tech giant won multiple awards include 13 iF Design Awards in 2018. Currently, it is the top smartphone manufacturer in India and the fifth-largest smartphone vendor globally. This is quite an achievement considering it only moved out of its hometown back in 2014.

Here are just some of the products that we are expecting from the Chinese brand that could launch in 2019.

Mi LED TV 5

The company took its time before launching its TV range in India. Despite its late launch, the Mi LED TV 4 range managed to make a big splash in the market. If rumours are to be believed, Xiaomi is preparing to launch the next-generation of smart LED TVs soon. A report says that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi TV 5 series has been spotted on 3C certification website. There is a mention of two variants which has been certified under the model number L65M5-5A and L65M5-5S, suggesting that the brand will initially debut the Xiaomi Mi TV 5 series with two models. While the certification doesn’t reveal much about the new range, we are expecting some improvements in terms of design, performance and the Patchwall UI.

Redmi 7, 7A and 7 Pro

The new Redmi 7 series of smartphones is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2019. Thanks to listing by TENAA, the website of Chinese regulator, we have a certain idea of what we can expect from the range. The Redmi 7 Pro will come with a 5.84-inch screen with 1080p resolution and a notch design. Also expect a dual-camera and a fingerprint sensor at the back. Details around the Redmi 7 and the Redmi 7A are scanty but we don't know that all three phones will include a 10W charger.

Mi Band 4

When it comes to fitness bands, Xiaomi’s Mi Band range has been the leader purely because it is a value for money product. We are expecting the next iteration to continue the legacy and probably the biggest feature is going to be an updated display. Honor recently launched its new fitness band, the Honor Band 4, which came with a coloured OLED display. We won’t be surprised if Xiaomi takes the same route along with a super affordable price tag.

Mi Mix 4

The Mix Mix was a revolutionary product. A smartphone that set path for manufacturers to push the boundaries of the display size (quite literally). The best part, it had no notch. The Mi Mix 2 and 2S were launched as successors, followed by the Mi Mix 3 with a display covering almost the entire front and housing the front camera in a mechanical slider. We can only imagine what Xiaomi will do with its innovative flagship smartphone, maybe a dual-display like the Vivo Nex Dual Display?

Redmi Note 7, 7 Pro

The Redmi Note series has been immensely popular, especially in India. Last year we saw Xiaomi launching the Redmi Note 5 / Note 5 Pro as well as the Redmi Note 6 / Note 6 Pro. Will it launch two upgrades this year as well? More importantly, will Xiaomi upgrade the internals, since the company is known to repeat the SoC (System on Chip) from previous versions?

What's your reaction?
