Microsoft Feels It Can Finally Beat Apple With Its Big Plans For The PC Market: What We Know
Microsoft feels that its renewed focus on making AI PCs with its partners could finally help it beat the Apple M-series Mac lineup.

Microsoft is going all in on AI PCs in 2024 and going forward and the company is now even confident of challenging Apple’s M-series silicone with its own focus on AI hardware and software integration.

Reports this week suggest Microsoft is banking on the Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X Elite to give Windows PCs the performance that not only matches but does better than Apple’s latest M3 chipset. Microsoft feels that Windows is finally becoming effective on ARM which makes the performance boost happen.

The company is planning for a big AI event in May where we could see some AI-centric products and the report points out that Microsoft is even ready to demo these PCs and compare its performance with Apple’s M3 Macs, which is definitely a big deal.

Windows has been around for ages, but Apple’s advancement with its M-series silicone has meant Intel had to reinvent its products and architecture, Microsoft is hoping further changes in this industry works to its benefit. Having said that, making claims is one thing and the product delivering on its claims is another.

Apple has made a big leap with the M1,M2, M3 silicone and the M4 version could take it up by a notch. Microsoft and the whole PC industry is keeping big hopes on the evolution of AI PCs with Intel already working with developers for hundreds of new AI use cases. We are eager to see what Microsoft can churn out with this new partnership and does it have the right armoury to challenge Apple and give itself a good chance to succeed in the market.
