Samsung is preparing to launch its new foldables and the Galaxy Ring at the Unpacked 2024 event in Paris on July 10. The smart ring made its debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. While specific details about the new gadget have not been disclosed, Samsung has indicated that the Galaxy Ring will offer customers enhanced health and fitness insights akin to smartwatches.

A recent report suggested that the upcoming tiny gadget from Samsung will include multiple health tracking features like temperature reader and stress monitor. Android Authority has discovered several features of the Galaxy Ring hidden in the latest version of the Samsung Galaxy Health app.

As per the report, Galaxy Ring users will be able to measure their stress and heart rate. Furthermore, for women, Samsung’s smart ring can help them detect the period cycle and read skin temperature.

Apart from this, the device might also monitor the user’s sleep and detect snoring. However, this will only be accessible when the smartphone is used as a companion.

The majority of these features of the upcoming Smart Ring are available on the Galaxy Smartwatch series but the ring provides a more convenient way of keeping track of your health, especially for those who don’t like to wear a watch while sleeping or in general.

But what will be its price? Previously, a report suggested that the Samsung Smart Ring might be as costly as tge Apple Watch.

Tipster Yogesh Brar claimed that Samsung’s smart ring will be launched at a price of USD 300 to USD 350 (around Rs 27,000). However, the device will be priced at Rs 35,000 in the Indian market. Additionally, as per the tipster, the South Korean tech giant will also have a USD 10 monthly subscription which is likely to offer varied health programs and meal chart systems via the Samsung Health app.

Apart from the Galaxy Ring, the tech giant is expected to showcase a series of new devices including the next-gen Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Watch 7 series.
