YouTube Is Now Working Slowly For Users If They Use This Important Tool: What We Know
YouTube ads are now increasing and if you try to block them YouTube will work slow on your system. Here are the details.

YouTube’s war against ad-blockers has become a worldwide news and now the platform seems to be taking further action on those using the tool which blocks the ads while watching videos.

YouTube claims that blocking ads restricts its ability to pay the content creators and that’s why it wants people to stop using these tools and or simply pay for the Premium service that offers ad-free content.

The recent update suggests many YouTube viewers are seeing the whole website slow down if they didn’t disable ad-blockers on their browser. The platform is calling it suboptimal viewing. The fact that people are seeing a downgrade in performance of a platform doesn’t bode well, at least when it is widely used and has served many for decades.

YouTube is used by millions, in fact, billions across the globe and for a long time the company has allowed people to use ad blockers so that they won’t see ads before and in between videos.

Recently, YouTube came with a three-strike rule for videos as well, giving people enough time to stop using ad blocker and let ads show for all videos on their profile as long as they wish to use YouTube for free. The message clearly said the video playback will be blocked unless you whitelist YouTube from the ad blocker app/extension or disable the feature completely.

Many people have even resorted to watching videos on other browsers like Microsoft Edge which clearly has no problems letting ad blockers do its job. We’re not sure these loopholes will last long but these efforts show that people are getting desperate to avoid paying for YouTube yet don’t want to see ads that are non-skippable.

YouTube is probably going to go further with its efforts to get people to stop using these blockers and that means more restrictions are inevitable in the near future.

What's your reaction?
