Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya welcomed their first child together on Wednesday, September 20. The couple became the proud parents of an adorable baby girl, just as Rahul had “manifested”. The birth of their child came during the auspicious days of Ganesh Chaturthi and according to Rahul, his daughter is the incarnation of the deity Lakshmi. On Saturday, the singer was spotted with his wife and child as they were released from the hospital post the delivery. The day is extra special for Rahul as it also marks his birthday.
Rahul and Disha stopped to interact with the paparazzi as the singer fondly held their daughter close. He said, “Ganesh Chaturthi main Lakshmi ji humare ghar aayi hain. Aaj mera birthday hai, birthday ke din meri bacchi aur my wife is coming home. Isse better birthday gift shayad hi duniya main kisi ko bhi mil sakta hai. (Lakshmi has come to our home on Ganesh Chaturthi. Today is my birthday and my wife and child are coming home. No one in the world can get a better birthday gift). So, thank you, God thank you, Disha and thank you, everybody please bless humare bacche ko. Bohot aashirwad dijiye.”

During his stint on the 14th season of the popular reality show Bigg Boss, Rahul had expressed his desire to become a girl dad. Now that his wish has come true, other Bigg Boss alums wished congratulated him on the special day. Rakhi Sawant commented, “Happy birthday to Rahul ” Akansha Puri wrote, “Congratulations @rahulvaidyarkv and happy birthday ❤️ so so happy for you… time for double celebration ❤️”
Rahul and Disha’s love story also began because of Bigg Boss 14. The singer publicly confessed his love to the actress when he was in Salman Khan’s show. Later, Disha entered the show in the family week and accepted Rahul’s proposal. The two tied the knot in 2021.
