Florida Man Takes Alligator's 'Help' To Open Beer Can, Internet In Splits

Snakes, alligators and other reptiles are undoubtedly scary, and an encounter with these wild creatures can prove fatal. But despite the dangers, many people are eager to go near them and try out stunts. Recently, a video showing a Florida man using an alligator to open a beer can went viral. The daredevil activity took place in the middle of a sea.

The video shows how the man leans out of his boat with a beer can in hand, and entices the alligator to come near. The reptile is then seen in the shallow water. The man reaches for the gator’s chin before daringly using the reptile’s sharp teeth to open the can. His friends shout and hoot for him in the background. One of them then excitedly chugs the can in a few seconds.

The video has received over 3.1 million views so far. A user who seemed quite entertained by the stunt expressed, “I wish I had crazy friends like them.”

Referring to various incidents in Florida involving an alligator, a user joked, “Tell me you’re from Florida without telling me you’re from Florida,” while another stated, “Interesting choice of tool! Resourcefulness at its finest, Florida never fails to surprise with its unique solutions.”

An individual joked, “The alligator looked like he knew his job. Came over, bit down and swam a way.” while another bravely stated, “Just a little water lizard, nothing to be afraid of.”

A person also questioned the whole purpose of the act saying, “I’m not so sure about the risk/reward on this one.”

Sometime back, Walt Jenkins, a wildlife photographer, came across a frightening situation while riding his bike through South Florida. The photographer encountered two massive alligators while navigating through the area. However, instead of fleeing from there, he appeared composed and unconcerned, realising that the reptiles were in a “lazy mood.” Despite the risks involved, Walt Jenkins’ cautious approach and understanding of animals’ behaviour ensured a safe return to his car.
