Here's The Fix To The Viral Clip That Appears To Freeze People's Feeds
Users are left unable to move past the video, leading to frustration and confusion as most assume that their phone has some issue.

TikTok, the popular video-sharing platform, is facing a new challenge as users have been encountering a viral video that has left them baffled. The video, as reported by some users who watch it, freezes their feeds, preventing them from scrolling any further. This phenomenon has sparked concerns among TikTok users, prompting discussions and explanations from many content creators. One of the most popular theories regarding this phenomenon is deducted by a user Noah Glenn Carters, who often shares insights into viral trends.

In a video that has amassed an impressive 12.1 million views so far, as reported by the New York Post. Noah expressed his astonishment at the video’s impact, saying that it has “broken TikTok" due to its ability to halt scrolling completely. Users are unable to move past the video, leading to frustration and confusion as most assume that their phone has some issue.

“On the video it says ‘Unfortunately I have to stop you from scrolling,’ and it means it because once you come across this video you cannot scroll past it," Noah said in his explanation.

The issue appears to be specific to the TikTok app itself, rather than a problem with users’ devices. After encountering the video, individuals find themselves stuck on their “for you page," unable to browse further until they fully close and reopen the app.

Noah has offered theories regarding the cause of this scrolling freeze. He suggested that it could be linked to either the audio or the image used in the video. To test this theory, he used the same audio in his explanation video. If the audio is indeed the culprit, users should encounter the same scrolling issue with his video. However, if they can scroll past his video, then the problem likely lies with the image used in the original video, informs New York Post.

The potential implications of this issue are significant. Noah highlighted that if more users learn how to create similar videos, TikTok could face a serious problem. A widespread adoption of videos that freeze scrolling would disrupt the app’s user experience, making it impossible for users to navigate through their feeds.

At present, the only known solution to this problem is to close and reopen the TikTok app, as reported by New York Post. This issue raises questions about TikTok’s algorithm and its vulnerability to manipulation. While there is no official statement or clarification regarding the freeze issue by the social media app itself, it also remains unclear how widespread this issue is or if TikTok is actively working on a permanent fix.
