Internet Shocked By Mechanic's 'Cheeky' Message On Woman's Car Air Filter
The woman claims that this air filter was installed during the service last year at Perry’s dealership in the UK. The mechanic left this cheeky message for the owner of the car.

Car servicing which is supposed to crop out all the problems resulted in a shocking revelation after a woman removed the car filter. The woman shared her experience with a picture on social media. The woman noticed a rude message which was left by a cheeky mechanic during the last service of a car. It was present in the car filter. Expected to be a prank, the air filter had the inscription ‘You Are Fat’ as shown in the image. The photo has gone viral now. Netizens have called it a common phenomenon by the mechanics.

In the viral image, a lady was seen holding the car filter. “You are FAT” was inscribed on it. The air filter belonged to the car of the woman’s fiance. She claims that this air filter was installed during the service last year at Perry’s dealership in the UK. It is expected that the mechanic left this cheeky message for the owner of the car. The air filters are usually hidden so it was not possible to identify the same during the car service. After a year, when the woman’s fiance took the car for servicing, she noticed this and shared the image on Reddit. “My fiance’s air filter was installed during her service last year at a Perrys dealership in the UK,” wrote the woman on Reddit while sharing the post.

The users who belong to the same profession of mechanics shared their views on this post and said that it is a common activity which mechanics do as a prank. “Low volt electrician checking in. Can confirm this is the sort of thing you’ll find virtually anywhere semi-hidden from the public. Inside A/C units, duct work above a soft lid ceiling, scribed on the steel pillars of new buildings, on the side of concrete Christy boxes. I, myself, like to draw dumb pictures like stickmen on islands saying “Omg you found me! Thank God! I’m saved!”

Another user wondered about the occurrence of a similar activity with her 10-year-old car. He said that he had some work done in her car for the last few years and now wonders if he is moving with secret messages in the car.
