Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 13th game of their IPL campaign and became the first team to qualify for the playoffs this season. As the team gears up for their upcoming clash — their last — against Shubhman Gill’s Gujarat Titans (GT), a viral video featuring KKR batsman Rinku Singh dancing to the beats of Pushpa 2 song has taken social media by storm. Shared on the team’s official Instagram account, Singh was seen joined by KKR’s star bowler Harshit Rana; the duo danced to Allu Arjun’s song.
In the viral video, Singh, who scored 20 runs from 12 balls in the last game, started dancing first. When Rana joined, the duo performed Pushpa Pushpa’s signature step. Their impromptu dance left the internet impressed and garnered over 1 Million. Sharing the video, KKR wrote, “Rocket Rinku, Rukega Nahi.”

Reacting to the clip, a user wrote, “Lord Rinku Dance.”

Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders’ co-owner, Shah Rukh Khan appreciated Rinku Singh in an interview with Star Sports and said, “Such amazing players are playing for the country. I am looking forward to Rinku, Inshallah being in the World Cup Squad and some other youngsters from other teams also. Some of them deserve it so much, but my wish is that Rinku makes it to the team. I will be so happy. That will be the high point for me.”
Singh rose to fame when he shot five consecutive sixes that led Kolkata Knight Riders to victory against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023. It was a shining moment for him, and in his debut season, he crossed 356 runs in 15 matches. During the season, he often remained unbeaten in crucial games and played until the last over.
