Paranormal Expert Suggests Ancient Scottish Sites Were Defenses Against Alien Landings
It has been claimed that the Skara Brae settlement has such structures that indicate that they may have been built to protect against alien attacks.

Did ancient humans ever build certain things and special places to protect themselves from aliens? This question has come into the limelight since an expert claimed that the ancient stone circles of Scotland were built to prevent external attacks, i.e., attacks from aliens. This unusual structure is quite mysterious, after studying which this expert has made such a claim.

Sites such as the Skara Brae settlement and Maeshowe, an old cairn on Mainland Orkney, are believed to have been built in response to possible alien landings. Paranormal obsessive Ron Halliday, who organises the Scottish UFO and Paranormal Conference this month, believes the ancient Picts’ drawings on the stones could provide deeper insight.

“There are Scottish objects and sites that could be related to ancient aliens,” Halliday told the Scottish Sun. “There are some Pictish stones with pictures of folk kind of fleeing away from things. I thought maybe this kind of thing represents an attack from the sky. There are questions about whether Skara Brae or Maeshowe on Orkney were intended as protection from nuclear war and an ancient battle with aliens,” he further said.

Halliday, a paranormal investigator for the past three decades, suggests the truth has been covered up. He said, “These structures could represent something entirely different from what some archaeologists make out they are. In my mind, the background to some of these ancient structures has never been satisfactorily explained.”

He also speculates that the brochs — stone towers—may be related to alien invaders and thinks the puzzles surrounding their origins are similar to the construction of the pyramids.

“These could be signals to aliens to attract their attention or to recognise that we knew there were aliens out there and that we had been visited by them. There’s piles of speculation about it, so here’s another possible explanation. These things may have been built to signify, attract, defend, or protect. There’s a whole lot of stuff that we will be covering at the conference that will be challenging. It will be interesting and stimulating for folk,” he added.

It was the tenth year of the paranormal gathering that took place in Glasgow on June 15.
