Recently, Starbucks opened its first outlet in Varanasi. The royal look of Starbucks left netizens in awe and got surprising reactions from them. What do you think, will it succeed in Varanasi? A video on X (formerly known as Twitter) featuring long queues outside the newly inaugurated outlet sparks mixed reactions from the netizens.
The clip opens to show Starbucks’ first outlet in Varanasi with long queues of customers at the gate. Many two-wheeler vehicles can also be seen parked outside the outlet. The video also features glimpses of the outlet from the inside which is almost full and over crowded. The viewers can also see a person, probably the manager of the outlet managing the customers outside who were waiting in long queues.
Customers can also be seen having coffee while standing inside the outlet as all the seats are occupied. This clip was shared by an X user Aaraynsh (@aaraynsh). Sharing the video the user wrote, “People earlier: Starbucks wouldn’t succeed in small towns because nobody would buy a ₹300 coffee. Meanwhile Varanasi:” The user tries to contrast the two different situations before the arrival of Starbucks in the city and post-opening of the outlet. The video also features an overlay text, that reads, “@starbucks ka moye moye kar diya Banaras walo ne.”
