It is not uncommon to see a small age gap between children and their parents and there can be several reasons for that. However, this one mother-daughter duo is making headlines for having an age gap of only seven years.
29-year-old Savana Chapin is just 7 years older than Tizzi, her 22-year-old daughter. The women frequently go viral for their videos on TikTok. They are often mistaken as twins, as they both share a striking resemblance.
Savana is Tizzi’s stepmother, who is married to her father, Chris Chapin, a 44-year-old salon owner. Savana had applied for a stylist’s job at Chris’s salon and the rest is history.
Both the partners Chris and Savana had ended old relationships. While Chris was looking for a stylist, Savana was not “interested” in getting into another relationship soon. Now, the couple is married, and has their children, despite having an age gap of 16 years.
Chris’ daughter Tizzi was naturally concerned about the age gap between her dad and his new wife. Talking about Tizzi, Savana said, “Tizzi was initially very thrown off.” Not only that, the mother had to face accusations and judgments thrown at her by trolls online but that did not stop her from bonding with her step-daughter.
The duo now posts dance videos on TikTok together, which go viral now and then. Savana said in one video, “Now we’re best friends and she’s my little right-hand man.” The women have started a clothing line and in a video, Savana was seen wearing a green jumper which had step-mama written on it. Priced at 31 pounds, the sweater also has motivational quotes written. Although Savana and Tizzi receive a lot of backlash for their relationship, they are more than happy to ignore them.
