Indians across the country celebrated Independence Day on August 15 with much fervour. Most people hoisted flags, made tricolour dishes, or wore clothes featuring the colours of the Indian flag. This day is a special occasion for all Indians, even those who live abroad, to showcase their love for the nation. This year many Indian nationals, including non-resident Indians, celebrated the day in unique ways and posted updates on the same on social media platforms.

An Indian entrepreneur in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) observed the day with an out-of-the box idea. He adorned his Tesla Cybertruck with a tricolour film, which left many users impressed on social media.

Diablo Auto Accessories LLC, a car wrapping firm based in the UAE, uploaded the video on their Instagram account showing this unique transformation. “Cybertruck designed for Iqbal Hatboor A Great Man with true Patriotism towards his country and celebrating 78th Independence Day of India in UAE,” read the Instagram post.

Iqbal Hatboor is a content developer and entrepreneur. According to reports, he is from Kasargod, Kerala. The video shows the workers carefully pasting the tricolour film over the car’s body with “78th Independence day” printed on it.

Another video posted by Iqbal shows the entire car once it’s completed. The video has received over 18 million views so far and a slew of reactions.

One user said, “This is great, brother,” while another person praised him saying, “Love u sir, such a beautiful message we r all Indians. Respect i Alla slamat rakhe apko.”

Another individual also pointed out how he made sure there was no disrespect in this action. The user stated, “Thank god. How you respect the flag we can see it. You did not paint the flag on wheels thank you for respect.”

Meanwhile, a unique celebration on Independence Day also took place in the United Kingdom. A video of a musician bringing together Indians and Pakistanis on this day has gone viral. The caption on the post read, “When Indians and Pakistanis sing together in London – ‘Jai Ho’”
