Witnesses to the terror attack on Westminster Bridge near the British Parliament in London on Wednesday told the media that the attacker was an ‘Asian man in his 40s’.
According to the BBC, the police have identified the attacker but have not made his identity public.

Meanwhile, a police raid early on Thursday morning in the city of Birmingham is being speculated to be linked with the attack.
The attack began at 2:40 PM London time when a single attacker drove a grey vehicle along a pavement over Westminster Bridge, near the Houses of Parliament in central London, killing at least two people and injuring many more. The car then crashed into railings outside the Houses of Parliament.
The attacker who was armed with a knife then ran towards the Parliament where he was confronted by the police. An unarmed police constable was stabbed and killed before the attacker was shot dead by armed officers.
At least 40 people were injured in the attack.
