New Delhi: Russian Army chief Colonel General Salukov Oleg Leonidovich on Monday arrived in New Delhi on a four-day visit seeking to enhance bilateral military ties.
The Commander-in-Chief (C-in-C) of Russian Land Forces, Colonel General Leonidovich held talks with his Indian counterpart General Dalbir Singh. He also paid homage at the Amar Jawan Jyoti and reviewed the Guard of Honour.
The Colonel General will visit the Indian Army's South Western Command Headquarters on Tuesday and the Parachute Training School and Independent Parachute Brigade at Agra on Wednesday.
The visit is aimed at enhancing bilateral military ties between India and Russia, an official statement said.
