WWE’s weekly episode of Monday Night RAW was televised on July 22. Aired live from the Resch Center in Green Bay in Wisconsin, the show featured some exciting updates for the company’s upcoming premium live event WWE SummerSlam. The night began with Gunther and Damian Priest exchanging blows days ahead of their clash at SummerSlam. Next, Bron Breakker won his match to become the number one contender for Sami Zayn’s Intercontinental Championship. In women’s action, Zelina Vega squared off against Zoey Stark. The main event saw Jey Uso team up with Zayn to take on the Judgment Day.
Gunther addresses Damian Priest and SummerSlam
The latest Monday Night RAW began with the ex-Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER talking about his upcoming WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam. With the crowd lightly booing at him, Gunther spoke about how his reputation, prestige and honour would be at stake against Damian Priest. He then invited Priest to the ring, who stormed down and attacked Gunther. As the duo brawled on the WWE ramp, security intervened to separate the two men.
CM Punk returns to RAW
CM Punk walked out to a huge ovation during the episode. Addressing the crowd, the WWE star revealed the doctors had cleared him. So, he would now go after Drew McIntyre to give him a beating. McIntyre slowly came out in front of the fans and then showed Punk a bracelet he stole from him. RAW General Manager Aiden Pearce next addressed the two and said he was still looking for a referee for their SummerSlam fixture. Just then Seth Rollins appeared out of nowhere and revealed that he would solve the problem by becoming the guest referee for the epic clash.
Rhea Ripley calls out Liv Morgan
Rhea Ripley shoved Dominik Mysterio down the ramp and then into the ring. She then called out Liv Morgan asking her to come get Dominik. Morgan’s music hit and she appeared in the fan stands. Dominik next got on the microphone and said he hated Liv because she had ruined his life. He called her deaf and stupid, leaving Morgan in tears while breaking a smile on Ripley’s face. Dominik stretched the ropes for Ripley to walk out before joining her arm in arm.

Bron Breakker vs Ilja Dragunov in WWE Intercontinental Championship Number 1 contender match – Breaker won the match after intervention from the referee.
Lyra Valkyria vs Sonya Deville – Deville beat Valkyria using Deville’s Advocate.
Akira Tozawa, Otis Dozovic and Xavier Woods vs Final Testament – The Final Testament won after Karion Kross landed a spin-out DDT on Xavier Woods.
Bronson Reed vs Pete Dunne – This match never started as Sheamus attacked Reed moments before the fight.
Zelina Vega vs Zoey Stark – Vega defeated Stark via pinfall with a Yoshi Tonic.
Jey Uso and Sami Zayn vs Judgment Day – Jey and Zayn won the match using a Diving Splash on JD McDonagh.
