Virat Kohli Spotted In London After Welcoming Second Child, Akaay
While the power couple continues to keep their location under wraps, they broke the joyous news of the birth of Akaay by sharing a joint statement on social media.

Virat Kohli was recently spotted in London after the Indian batting icon and his wife Anushka Sharma announced the birth of their second child, Akaay, on February 15. Speculations about Kohli’s whereabouts have been rife since the cricketer withdrew his name from the ongoing Test series against England. Kohli sat out citing personal reasons. There were rumours that Kohli and Anushka had jetted off to the UK last month as they planned to welcome their baby in London.

While the power couple continues to keep their location under wraps, they broke the joyous news of the birth of Akaay by sharing a joint statement on social media.

“With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika’s little brother into this world. We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives,” read the statement.

At the end of the note, the pair urged fans and media to “respect their privacy at this time”.

After Kohli and Anushka made the announcement, a picture surfaced on social media where the former Indian skipper was seen roaming around reportedly in London late in the evening.

News18 CricketNext doesn’t confirm this to be the latest picture of Virat Kohli but the same has gone viral on social platforms.

Wishes have been pouring in on social media ever since Kohli and Anushka revealed the arrival of Akaay, their son on social media platforms.

Kohli has been away from the Indian dressing room since playing the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan. He pulled himself out of the England Tests, initially the first two games, and later extended his unavailability for the entire series. This is the first time since his international debut that he won’t be a part of a Test series at home.
