Saitama, Japan: Chuba Akpom scored with eight minutes left on Friday to give Arsenal a 2-1 win over Japanese club Urawa Reds in a pre-season friendly.
Second-half substitute Lukas Podolski gave Arsenal the lead in the 49th minute, converting a pass from Theo Walcott, before Yuki Abe leveled 10 minutes later for the hosts.
Akpom sealed the win in the 82nd when he slotted into an empty net after Urawa goalkeeper Norihiro Yamagishi couldn't control a ball lofted from Aaron Ramsey. It was Akpom's fourth goal of Arsenal's Asian tour.
Arsene Wenger's side beat Nagoya Grampus 3-1 on Monday.
Arsenal's Japanese import Ryo Miyaichi, who scored a penalty against Grampus, came on after half-time.
