27': Thoi Singh tries his luck from distance but his shot was wayward. He tried to power one into the top left corner but the execution was too poor, that was nowhere close to the target. Maybe he should concentrate on passing and providing the crosses.
24': Kerala Blasters FC are pushing on after the early setback. Chris Dagnall tries to make his way into the box from the right but only manages to win a corner. The resulting corner was taken short though and it caused no problems to the Kerala Blasters FC defenders.

19': Chennaiyin FC defenders are caught sleeping at the back and Pulga tries to take advantage. Nobody was closing him down and he blasted a shot from way out towards goal. Edel Apoula made a smart save at the near post to deny the Spaniard.
Chennaiyin FC double their lead and it is Mendoza! The Colombian curled the ball into the far left with his shot from the edge of the box. That was taken exquisitely by the now top-scorer of the ISL.

3': GOAL! Chennaiyin FC take the lead! Dhana is the unlikely source! The left-back fires a first time volley from the left towards the far post. No chance for the keeper as the shot had too much power in it. Kerala Blasters FC thought they had averted the danger when Rahul Bheke headed the ball out of danger but they certainly didn't see this coming from the Indian defender.
