Workarounds to Add a Collab After Posting

Ask the collaborator to repost to their feed. So your post mimics a collab post that's shared to both collaborator's feeds, ask the other collaborator(s) to repost the "collab" post to their page. This way, you won't miss out on the larger audience benefit of collab posts.

Tag the collaborator in the post or caption. Even though you didn't add the other person as a collaborator, you can edit the post to include their name. Since you're tagging the other person, that post is likely to show up for fans of that other creator, which increases your reach.

Ask the collaborator(s) to share the post on their Story. In addition to doing everything else, you also want them to share your post to their Story so you can increase your reach. Their full audience might not see the Feed post, but will more likely see the Story!

Delete the post and create it again. If you want to create a collab post, you'll have to delete the post you published without adding collaborators and add them to the new post before hitting Publish. To create a joint post, you simply need to tap Add People before you publish the post.
