Guwahati: Ten people, including two policemen, were injured in a bomb blast triggered by the outfir ULFA at Doomdooma in Assam's Tinsukia district on Thursday evening. The bomb planted on a footpath near a departmental store at Gandhi Chowk exploded around 6:45 pm, the police said.
The injured included passersby besides the two policemen on duty nearby, the sources said and were taken to the civil hospital.
Police and security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search.
According to the sources, a grenade was thrown by motorcycle-born youths.
