Two persons, including a former Army officer, were arrested by the Delhi Police for their alleged involvement in the illegal procurement and sale of Call Detail Records (CDRs).
New Delhi: Two persons, including a former Army officer, were arrested by the Delhi Police for their alleged involvement in the illegal procurement and sale of Call Detail Records (CDRs).
The former Army officer has been identified as Captain D K Giri and he used to run a private detective agency - Sharp Detectives Private Limited - in Hyderabad.
"Both of them were arrested two days ago in Hyderabad. We are investigating the matter," police sources said.
Giri was awarded the prestigious, Ratna Shiromani Award for professional excellence and scientific approach in private investigations.
So far eight persons were arrested, including a sub-inspector who worked in Jaipur Police's cyber cell, for their alleged involvement in the CDR racket.
