New Delhi: Delhi Police on Tuesday formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the serial rapist. The SIT will also track cases in other states.
Serial rapist, Ravinder Kumar, has confessed to sexually assaulting and killing at least 30 other children in the past.
Kumar, a native of Badaun in Uttar Pradesh, told investigators that he had targeted young girls in Delhi, NCR and western UP.
He was arrested in connection with the rape and murder of a six-year-old girl in outer Delhi's Begumpur area. The girl was reportedly missing on July 14 morning and an FIR was subsequently registered at Begumpur police station.
