Delhi: Rain affects flight operations at airport, several areas waterlogged
More than 60% India, starting from Kashmir to Karnataka is witnessing an unusual, continuous rainfall since Saturday night.

New Delhi: Unusual rainfall has affected operations of flights at India's busiest and biggest airport Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in New Delhi. According to Delhi International Airport Limited, 34 domestic flights and three International flights have been delayed due to low visibility at the airport.

Visibility dropped at the airport significantly on Monday morning. It was at 800 meters and has gone up to 1500 meters. More than 60% India, starting from Kashmir to Karnataka is witnessing an unusual, continuous rainfall since Saturday night.

Several areas of the city witnessed waterlogging following which the Delhi Police issued a traffic advisory. Due to the continuous rain, there is water logging on below mention roads/sites in Delhi.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also tweeted showing concern over the incessant rains. "Traffic police, pl clear traffic jams. AAP volunteers, pl help traffic police, wherever possible," he tweeted. Civic agency has been informed to remove the water logging and clear the roads.
