'Mugamoodi' might have evoked mixed response. But there is hardly anyone who isn't impressed with the efforts Jiiva put for the role. And now, the actor is gearing up his next, 'Endrendrum Punnagai'.
The film to be directed by Ahmed (who made his debut with 'Vamanan') was formally launched some weeks back. Its regular shoot will commence from September 15.
Touted as a romantic entertainer, the film has Trisha as the leading lady, with Vinay playing a key role. "Jiiva has a very good role to perform in Endrendrum Punnagai," sources said.
In the meantime, the actor is gearing up for the release of Gautham Vasudev Menon directed 'Neethane En Ponvasantham', which has music by maestro Ilayaraja.
