India dismisses Pakistan's downed drone 'proof', says drone didn't belong to the country
The drone in question is of a Chinese make.

New Delhi: A war of words broke between India and Pakistan over the shooting of the drone with the government rubbishing Islamabad's allegation that a drone shot dead by Pakistan earlier this month was launched by India for aerial surveillance.

This comes a day after Pakistani authorities released pictures and videos allegedly showing that the drone flew from India and crossed into Pakistani territory for reconnaissance. Pakistan Army had claimed that it shot down the drone in the Bhimber area of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir

Government sources have reported that India is sticking to its stand that the drone did not belong to the country. India has dismissed the 'proof' furnished by Pakistan.

The sources alleged that Pakistan had enough time to furnish evidence and images were doctored.

India has reiterated that its stand is vindicated by China's confirmation that the drone was not sold to India. The drone in question is of a Chinese make.
