Jobless man allegedly commits suicide

Depressed over not getting an employment opportunity, a 38-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison, police said on Wednesday.

Sanjay, who lived in Siyani Gate area, was rushed to a nearby hospital last night where he died this morning during treatment.

Police said Sanjay had tried in many companies, but could not get a job offer.

"Sanjay was jobless for a long time. He tried in several companies, but failed. His family members said he was deeply depressed over it," a police officer said.
