Kaiga power unit trips

KAEWAR: The third unit of Kaiga power station tripped on Friday, thereby stalling power generation. Sources said that an increase in the oil temperature was said to be the reason behind the tripping. Power generation is likely to resume on Sunday. The sources clarified that the unit has not been shut down.  The first reactor is likely to be shut down shortly for maintenance.
