LS polls: BJP makes a comeback in Haryana after 15 years, wins 7 seats
Out of the 10 Lok Sabha seats, the BJP has won seven seats, while the ruling Congress is leading only in one and INLD in two seats.

Chandigarh: Haryana has been engulfed in the Modi wave anointing the Bharatiya Janata Party as a clear winner in the state. Out of the 10 Lok Sabha seats, the BJP has won seven seats, while the ruling Congress has won only one and INLD on two seats. It is after a gap of 15 years that the BJP has made such an impressive comeback in Haryana.

From the BJP, Krishan Pal won the Faridabad seat against Congress's Avtar Singh Bhadana, Rattan Lal Kataria won against Congress's Raj Kumar Balmiki, Inderjit Singh Rao won against Congress's Zakir Hussain, Ashwini Kumar won against Congress's Arvind Kumar Sharma. BJP's Ramesh Chander won against Congress's Jagbir Singh Malik in Sonipat and BJP's Dharambir won against INLD's Bahadur Singh in Bhiwani-Mahendragarh.

Industrialist-turned-politician Naveen Jindal, who is a sitting MP from Kurukshetra Lok Sabha seat from Haryana, finished at the third place and BJP's Raj Kumar Saini defeated his nearest rival INLD's Balbir Singh Saini by 1,29,736 votes.

The Congress has managed to win only one seat of Rohtak, where two-time MP Deepinder Singh Hooda has won against his nearest rival BJP's rival OP Dhankaran by over one lakh votes.

INLD has managed win on two constituencies. From Sirsa (SC), Charanjit Singh Rori has won by 115736 votes against his nearest rival sitting MP Ashok Tanwar, while from Hisar, Dushyant Chautala of the Haryana Janhit Congress (BL) won against Haryana Janhit Congress (BL)'s Kuldeep Bishnoi.
