Understanding of god

God is a supernatural power. I am peaceful when I think there’s someone above me who is controlling my life. But I generally avoid the argument about his existence. It’s a matter of personal choice.

Spiritual belief and experiences

I wouldn’t call myself spiritual. But every morning I make sure I take a few minutes off from errands at house to light a diya kept at my prayer place. It’s a very traditional thing to do, it happens in every Indian home. I guess, it’s the way we have been raised. It’s just one of the many ways to thank god.

Take on miracles

Coincidences are miracles. Some incidents in life make you think that way. Miracles cannot have a fixed definition because they vary from person to person.

Take on superstition

I make conscious efforts to avoid it. I don’t follow it. But at times, just to make others (especially your elders) happy, you need to follow certain things. So that’s my relationship with superstition.

Pilgrimage sites

I haven’t been on a pilgrimage yet; I’m not that religious a person. But I really love the Himalayas. It’s absolutely peaceful and very pure, if I may add. It’s also very picturesque.
