BANGALORE: Even as former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa continued to hold meetings to regain the CM’s post, his supporters trained their guns on the high command for not accepting their leader’s demand for a suitable post.Tumkur Rural MLA Suresh Gowda, a staunch follower of Yeddyurappa, sought to ridicule the leadership for ignoring the former CM’s strength.“The fate of a leader like Yeddyurappa cannot be decided by people in Delhi. We request the leaders to tour the state to understand the pulse of the people and popularity of Yeddyurappa before taking any decision,” Gowda said, expressing confidence that Yeddyurappa will soon return as the chief minister.More supporters of Yeddyurappa, particularly MLAs representing Lingayat-dominated constituencies, are likely to come out in the open against the party high command.Yeddyurppa held meetings with MLAs and ministers supporting him on the future course of action,  besides discussing his proposed tour, which is likely to begin after January 15. In all likelihood, it will start from Lingayat-dominated Tumkur district.
