The High Court on Tuesday dismissed a petition seeking a CBI probe into the suspicious death of Sr Mary Ancy, a nun of the Holy Spirit Convent at Poonkulam, Thiruvananthapuram. Justice S S Satheesachandran held that the agency is doing its job as mandated by law.
“Examining all the aspects, including those raised as suspicious circumstances, was merely on the basis of a suspicion raised by a close relative. It is not possible to hold that the investigation into the case is not being conducted fairly,” the court said.
